Paradigm's principal team members have worked together for the past 12 years, developing, acquiring, marketing and managing successful golf facilities throughout the United States.
The company's proven track record, experience and performance in all aspects of financial feasibility analysis, property acquisition and subsequent installation of its operations management, marketing systems and training procedures provide it with the ingredients necessary to produce significant returns to the company's investment partners.
Over the past 10 years, Paradigm's principals have developed a template for efficient and accurate feasibility analysis of real property and related business operations. The Paradigm management team's reputation for timely acquisition and exit accomplishments is well known in the golf industry and it enjoys broad networking capability derived from recognition as an industry leader. This is augmented by relationships with owner operators, major financial institutions, golf industry professionals, trade and service suppliers, specialty brokers, engineers, land planners, appraisers, attorneys and national accounting firms.
Paradigm's in-depth experience with both large upscale and small neighborhood golf facilities, including complex property acquisitions and financing transactions, enables it to quickly recognize, evaluate, and capitalize on opportunities in the marketplace.

The company has owned and/or operated these full service golf facilities since 2004. The purchased clubs were all acquired in seller-distressed transactions including Trustee Sales and direct purchases from underlying lenders at below market basis. After purchase of these golf facilities, the Company completed approximately $3.8 million of well-placed, strategic capital improvements and enhancements. The properties currently enjoy pristine conditions and are absent any significant deferred asset or maintenance issues. Year-to-year stabilized operations are efficiently and successfully managed and marketed by the company's Paradigm Golf Management affiliate (“PGM”).
Currently, PGM managed operations generate annual net operating income of $2.9 million. In the year prior to Paradigm's purchase or management, these clubs produced a combined $900,000 of operating losses. The clubs will collectively continue to produce net operating income growth of 6 – 10% as they achieve full stabilization. In addition, Paradigm maintains a thriving consulting business throughout the United States where it is retained by third-party owners to troubleshoot marketing and operational deficiencies and to design, implement and execute tailored strategies resulting in financial growth and overall success.

Michael E. Abee
Chief Executive Officer and Managing Member
- Michael E. Abee is highly regarded for his vision of acquiring
and executing standard-setting golf course facilities and real estate communities known for consumer value and return-on-investment. Mike began his career in real estate development in 1981, when he served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for a period of three years at American Pacesetter in Southern California.
- From 1998 to 2001 he was Director of Golf Course Acquisitions and Due Diligence for Arnold Palmer Golf Management Company headquartered in San Francisco.
- From 1992 to 1998, Michael Abee, as Principal, Chief Financial Officer and Director of Acquisitions for Paloma Golf Group, was actively engaged in the development, acquisition, financing and operation of golf courses throughout the country.
- Mr. Abee was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Dove Canyon Co., from 1987 to 1992, where he was responsible for several aspects of the project, including conventional development financing and sale of merchant builder improved lot parcels.
- From January 1984 to 1987, Mike Abee, was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Polygon Homes of California. In this capacity, he was responsible for all aspects of financing, development, construction and operations for multiple land development and home building projects throughout the Western United States.
- Mr. Abee Graduated from San Diego State University in 1979 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting and was recruited by Kenneth Leventhal and Company, the premier accounting firm for the real estate and development industry. In 1981, he joined American Pacesetter; one of Southern California's leading publicly traded homebuilders.
- His early experience as a development financial analyst for golf courses and master planned communities, coupled with his ability to locate and secure capital funding and conventional debt has placed him as a respected leader in this highly specialized field. Mr. Abee is a recognized expert in transaction and financial structuring, property acquisitions, operations management and due diligence. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds Real Estate Broker licenses in California and Texas.
Joseph W. Dahlstrom
Chief Operating Officer
- Joe Dahlstrom is one of the top golf industry operational and marketing
executives in the country, and the co-founding member of Paradigm Golf Group.
- Working closely with Michael Abee, Mr. Dahlstrom is responsible for and oversees all aspects of golf, food and beverage and promotional activities for Paradigm Golf Group.
- Joe is also responsible for Paradigm's sales and marketing plans, programs and strategy. He has attended numerous, sales, management and leadership seminars, has participated and leads training programs, and continuously utilizes innovative sales strategies facilitated by the likes of Zig Ziglar, John Maxwell, Brian Tracy and Jeffrey Gitomer.
- From 2002, Joe was General Manager of Cimarron Golf Resort in Cathedral City, California.
- From 1999 to 2002, Joe was the Director of Business Development for Walters Golf and Director of Golf Operations for its Royal Links Golf Club in Las Vegas, Nevada.
- As Director of Business Development for the Walters organization, Joe pioneered and launched proactive customer service philosophies and practices. In addition, he designed and executed innovative sales and marketing programs supporting the corporate business plan(s).
- From 1994 to 1998 Joe Dahlstrom was Director of Instruction and Lead Golf Professional at Paloma Golf Group's Geneva National Golf Club, a 54-hole semi-private golf and resort complex including a 60,000 square foot full-service clubhouse facility.
- Joe Dahlstrom began his notable career in 1990 as a Golf Professional at Geneva National Golf Club, Lake Geneva Wisconsin.
- Joe attended the University of Wisconsin from 1991 to 1994.
- Mr. Dahlstrom has served as both an attendee and instructor for a variety of golf business, operations and marketing programs and seminars where he remains on the cutting edge of knowledge and experience regarding golf property marketing and operations.

- Mike began his professional career at Geneva National Golf Club in 1996, over five year he went from guest services supervisor to lead golf professional.
- In 2002 Mike joined the Paradigm Golf Group as Sales Director of the Cimarron Golf Resort. As the club sales director he has been responsible for increasing the clubs total sales by $1,700,000.
- In 2006 Mike was promoted to V.P of Operations and Sales, he is responsible for the outside sales and operational results at the entire Paradigm owned and managed properties.
- Mike plays a major role in the product development, training, implementation, execution and results of all Paradigms Properties.
- Mike has attended and participated in seminars and training programs of John Maxwell, Zig Ziglar, Brian Tracy and Jeffrey Gitomer.
